Mini Marlins
Learn-to-Swim
Mini Marlins is a learn-to-swim program for 5- and 6-year-olds with emphasis on skills that support the development of a future competitive swimmer in a fun environment.

Swimmers are in the water two nights a week for the months of May and June.

Mini Marlins are not yet eligible to compete in swim meets.

Introduction to Competitive Swimming
Lane 1
This group (age 7+) is introduced to the fundamentals of speed swimming with a focus on strong technique and skill development.

Swimmers should feel confident in the water and be able to swim 25m.

Lane 1 swimmers swim two nights a week for from May - July.

Swimmers are encouraged to compete in at least one swim meet throughout the season.
Competitive Swimming
Lane 2-5
Our competitive swimmers continue to develop efficient swimming technique while also focusing on speed, endurance, and race strategy. Swimmers train with similarly-skilled peers for safety, confidence, and appropriate challenge.​

Competitive swimmers train four days a week from May - July.

Swimmers compete in a minimum of two regular-season Swim Sask sanctioned swim meets.

The swim season finishes with Northern-Semi Finals and Provincial Finals for those who qualify.
